Parenting Skill ENTP Allows the ENTP Child to Question and seek Change!

Parenting skill for the ENTP child can be exhausting from the standpointthat the ENTP child will challenge and question everything.

ENTP, Extraverted with Intuition, Thinking and Perceiving. ENTP children are excitingchallenging and intellectually demanding.

Understand that this page is devoted to helping you as a loving parentor guardian, regardless of your type, better understand how to useyour instinctive nature to improve your parenting skill by nurturing your child.

Your nature and your child's nature is your personality type and your child'stype as discovered through the Myers Briggs Test.

You may not be ENTP Mom or Dad; but, if your child is ENTP than this page can guideyou in developing outstanding parenting skill as you raise and interact with your ENTPchild.

  • Very alert and active babies
  • These babies make eye contact very early on
  • Are energized by being with others...the more the merrier
  • ENTP toddlers enjoy being read to...love it
  • Very curious and spontaneous young ones
  • They interrupt a great deal
  • Can be impatient...minds are moving quickly!
  • Will eagerly try new things
  • Wll be lacking in self-discipline as they grow
  • Need new things constantly
  • Love to argue...elementary/high school age...and forever!
  • Very non-conventional
  • Socially very precocious
  • Express very casual even careless attitudes at times

Regardless of your personality type Mom and Dad-here are some things you can doto nurture your ENTP child and improve parenting skill.

    Nurturing the ENTP Child:

  • Give them a variety of things to play with...really at all ages!
  • Get ready for lots of energy from them..have an outlet for that energy.
  • Support and encourage their natural creativity...they have unusual amounts of it!
  • They are instinctively logical...non-personal...let them be logical.
  • Know they enjoy arguing, are drawn to it...you may not be...reframe yourself!
  • (they are natural negotiators)
  • Get ready for some non-traditional behavior..channal it.
  • If you are "thin-skinned" remember the entp is not!
  • Take time to explain why being "nice" and "feeling" is important.

In conclusion Mom and Dad, if you are ENTP than most of the above seemed prettynatural and may have brought back childhood memories.

However, if you are not a Intuitive Thinker (NT) or an Extraverted Perceiver (EP)maybe the above can better aid you as you develop your parenting skill.

The ENTP type is one of the more rare types in America anyway in terms of distributionwith about 4-7% of the American population having that type. About 3-4% of American femalesand about 5-7% of American males are ENTP.
