Five Things You Must Do If You Want To Successfully Fight and Beat Stress!

The world is caught in the "grip" of adapting too much to situations we do not prefer. Well that is part of life; but, it can be a very much more manageable part of life as we learn to avoid situations where we will "automatically" become stressed. A discovery of your Myers-Briggs personality type holds the key to successfully fighting against stress and winning!

1. Identify Your Myers-Briggs Personality Type

Each of the 16 Myers-Briggs personality types will instinctively and very predictably express stress. By understanding how your type reacts to stress you can better predict stressful situations and live longer!

2. Discover Your "Dominant" and "Inferior" Functions

Your Myers-Briggs personality type will show you which psychological mental function is your favorite ("Dominant Function") and which is your least favorite ("Inferior Function"). This knowledge will show you how you express your stressful reactions, work as a "scout" to help you identify and avoid potentially stressful situations...and even people!

3. Understand Your "In The Grip" Reaction to Stress

You will react to heavy stress in very predictable ways we call being "in the grip" of your "inferior" function. You will be dominant or inferior in one of either "Sensing" or "Intuition", "Thinking" or "Feeling" mental functions. You are 'in the grip" when you have "lost it", and are a wee bit to a very great bit, out of control and you will be expressing behavior easily identified with your "inferior" function.

4. Know That the "Grip" Reaction is Healthy!

It is healthy as long as it does not go on too long. Then it can become very un-healthy. In fact, staying in an environment causing too many "grip" reactions can put you in an early grave because your brain is working too hard at adapting and it is robbing your body of oxygenated blood that the body needs to stay healthy!

5. Right Yourself with The Dominant Function

Actually, you will get back to your most preferred way of doing things by using the second or "auxiliary" function. Again, you will be secondary in one of the four functions spoken of above. For me it is "Feeling", so when in the "grip" at some point I can "right the boat" by using empathy, compassion, in other words "feeling" kind of things to get me back to my dominant reality of "intuition". (I am INFJ, all INFJs are dominant intuits.)

So, you can live longer, live more joyfully by being able to predict potentially stressful situations....and even people, and by using the power of your Myers-Briggs personality type face stress, avoid stress, successfully and in a healthier manner beat stress. This is possible by discovering your Myers-Briggs personality type in the first place then identifying you "type dynamics", or which of the four psychological functions of "Sensing", "Intuition", "Feeling" and "Thinking" are your Dominant and Inferior! Live longer with greater joy, love and understand others more through knowledge of your Myers-Briggs personality type!
