Time Management ISFP is Free Spirited!

Mavericks by nature time management ISFP will highlight the fact that they do things their own way whenever possible.

Really the ISFP is very good at prioritizing with a view to the importance of thingsin the immediate present, sometimes future planning may lag behind.

Method

Typically the ISFP if so "free spirited" that time management can take on many forms. The ISFPcan be fluid, changeable, predictable when they want to be in managing events but usuallythey are more loose and unpredictable in the way they may choose to manage time.

At times, and usually, they are unpredictable but like independence and like to be free ofany restricting rules, guideline, structures.

They are very responsive and flexible and extremely pragmatic folks who have deeply held values. They will jump in and do what needs to be done with a view to the present situation.

Tools and Traps

Due to the ISFP flexibility and free spirited approach to life coupled with their pragmaticnature they may use almost any tool to help them manage time....or they may use nothing ora simple list of things to do.

They are casual and informal as they approach most things, keeping an open mind to what lifemay bring to them. Thus they have slight need to "structure" things which again supports theiruse of time management tools of all kinds or no kinds.

The key natural tendency for the ISFP is flexibility, being spontaneous and freely doing what needs to be done in the moment.

Their approach to time management as to much of life therefore is flexible and unstructured. They will create their own way of doing things and approaching time.

Not surprisingly the ISFP will get trapped because of their powerful ability to respond to the pragmaticneeds of the moment, responding to the immediate situation can cause them to miss other time linesand goals.

Closely tied to the above the ISFP may take on too many things; have too much upon their plate andstruggle to get them done. This is also a large stress producer for the ISFP.

ISFP also get trapped due to a natural tendency to put things off depending upon core values, stress of themoment, personal agenda. In addition frequent interruptions will side track them as well and play intotheir natural flexible nature in a negative way.

The ISFP can balance themselves by re-establishing a sense of what is important....really important and byre-visiting what they hold as "core values". Sometimes focusing on a more "traditional" time management toolcan help them to re-establish their focus.
