Time Management ISTP is Flexible, Adaptive and Realistic!

Time management ISTP will naturally take a in-the-moment, adaptive approach to solving problems that have occured.

The ISTP will embrace standard time management tools if necessary or as a part of their job description; but, they do not wast time or movement or motion. They tend to "respond" to situations as they occur perhaps thinking of time management tools after the fact.

Method

Basiclly the ISTP method of time management is really reactionary. They just begin to do what needs to be done.

They thrive in environments that need rapid response, very in-the-moment reactions.

In times of crisis the ISTP rises to the occasion especially if the odds are against them. This type of reaction method would tend to make formal time management tools and techniques more of a second thought at times.

Tools and Traps

As "sensing" "thinkers" as ISTPs are they will use formal tools, as mentioned above, on an "afterthought" basis at times. Ant at other times will makes lists, embrace a "PDA"....if they have to.

However, due to their marvelous ability to respond to crisis and immediately go ] into a troublshooting mode...they may not complete anything they wrote down on their respective list of time management device!!

Frankly who cares because they get things done in difficulty circumstances!!

So the ISTP is not prone to use formal time management devices or will they be likely to embrace routine.

They will however work very efficiently with the smallest amount of effort to get the most crucial things done.

One of the time management techniques they can be quite good at is to keep blocks of time open, always open, because if something can go wrong it will!! So by keeping blocks of time open the ISTP is ready!

Some time traps the ISTP may get caught in are not seeing future impacts of what may be happen now; tryng to do too much to solve a crisis; responding too much to "crisis" and getting caught up in that.

As the ISTP calls upon their "judging" and "intuitive" functions they can "right" themselves if they get caught up in logically solving whatever crisis is present.
